harmonious balance

The only thing I love more than being affected, is affecting others.
It comes down to sharing our stories, our gifts, our blessings and our challenges.
Listening to others, learning and growing.
Doing your best and then simply letting go.

permalink Sunday Morning - “Nothing lasts forever”
Good morning :-) I was deeply affected in two ways by the same event. I just recently heard that part of PCH was closed in Big Sur, my favorite place, and it was not possible to drive through indefinitely. I haven’t been everywhere, but I’ve been to enough places to admire, appreciate and fall in love with Big Sur. To hear that a part of what I’ve seen may be gone forever, affected me in a way I hadn’t felt before. I had told my parents I wanted to take them ob that drive up along the west coast through Big Sur. Nothing lasts forever. Good, bad, right or wrong, this too shall pass. Try to be true to your self, deem yourself worthy, follow your heart’s desires, be your best, for no one is promised tomorrow… There is a parable of a monk who was quietly sweeping. A boy came up to him and said, “what would you do if you knew the world was going to end in 10 minutes” and the monk said without pause, “keep sweeping”. peace & God blesstjd
