harmonious balance

The only thing I love more than being affected, is affecting others.
It comes down to sharing our stories, our gifts, our blessings and our challenges.
Listening to others, learning and growing.
Doing your best and then simply letting go.

permalink Sunday Morning - “Searching for Answers”
Good morning :-) Most of my life I seem to have been guided by something inside of me; my instincts/gut, and I have always tried to stay true to that. I did that simply because I did not know any other way to be and it got me down life’s path. The test is when what you normally do, does not bring you the normal results. As we get older, we fall into a false sense of security and believe we will not be tested and that we will have the answers when needed. But when we are thrown off course, something lands on our path that we did not see coming or we are faced with decisions that we cannot clearly see the answer to and our gut, our instincts, or our normal way of dealing does not work… what then? That’s what I think the quest of life is; keep growing, learning, embracing all, good and bad, that comes along and having the faith to believe it is all for a reason. Once again, easier stated, harder to apply. I have needed my faith to grow continually, thus continually increasing my ability to accept the things I cannot change, celebrate the things I can and the peace to know the difference (sound familiar?) I continually search and these are some words that I believe in when I have doubt or fear. I hope they may help you in times of uncertainty along your path:   “To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did”“When God takes something from your grasp. He’s not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better.”“The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.” Lastly, I read this yesterday and it gave me comfort: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”  - Mathew 11:28-29 peace & God blesstjd
