harmonious balance

The only thing I love more than being affected, is affecting others.
It comes down to sharing our stories, our gifts, our blessings and our challenges.
Listening to others, learning and growing.
Doing your best and then simply letting go.

peace & God bless

permalink Sunday Morning - “Happy New Year”
Good morning :-) I hope this finds you healthy, happy & looking forward to 2011! I know I am a day late, not a great way to start off the year. But the past month has been a bit of a challenge for me & once again I doubted sending out the “Sunday Mornings”…And late last night I watched a video that a friend had sent me and once again I was inspired. It was a video about focusing on the positive, perspective and one guy’s voice that many have now heard. Neil Pasricha was going through some challenging times and he decided to write a blog. He noted that 50,000 blogs are started each day and didn’t think many would listen. He actually won “Best Blog in The World!” To me, it has always been about sharing; our struggles, our joys, our disappointments, our accomplishments, all so none of us feel that we are alone on our paths. Neil’s video helped to remind me that feeling good, being happy, and smiling takes work everyday. Sometimes it is easier than others. But what was important was by the end of the video, I felt better and wanted to continue sending out my message, no matter who was listening, if it affected anyone, simply because it was something I have always felt I could do, should do and to not worry about the results. Neil spoke about his “3 A’s of Awesome”, the last being authenticity. So, as long as we are authentically ourselves, we cannot go wrong… I have been doing that each & every Sunday morning for the past 6 years. That in itself is worth me continuing to do what I do. Each one of us has challenges; things we cannot control or wish were different. But we are all truly blessed in one way or another. It is finding “that”, holding on to it & deeming ourselves worthy of the effort it takes for us to continue being who we are, doing what we do & thanking Him each and everyday we have been given. I thank you for listening, reading, following what I have to share. It has truly been a blessing and one I know I shall continue.
