sunday morning message - “Fight the Fight”
It truly seems that we all have similar paths, challenges and questions. Thus, I feel somewhat redundant in what I preach and share. One client will ask, “Do I have to stretch all the time?” Another, “Do I have to do cardio every week?” Another, “How long do I have to eat this way?” Others will ask what else can they do to feel good. My answer is pretty basic; “Stretch, take hot baths, get massages, maybe acupuncture, roll their neck, take mini breaks during the day (especially from sitting @ the computer) and to do all of these consistently. The reply I get most often is how much work that will take. My reply is always the same: 1) If you don’t do things consistently, you will not benefit from them. 2) You are the sole recipient of all of your effort. 3) On the flip side, if you do not “do the work” you may end of with sickness, a bad back, a bad neck, tight sore achey muscles and joints, lack of energy throughout the day, sleepless nights and not to mention all of the medical conditions that could arise from not “fighting the fight” as I always say. To me, the latter sounds like a lot more work than the first option and there doesn’t seem to be much benefit to you “the sole recipient ” of all the non-effort. Lastly, when you are doing things consistency you cannot help but feel better mentally as well. You feel empowered, confident and your struggles never seem to big because you are “Fighting the fight that is ALWAYS worth fighting!”
Deem yourself worthy, walk the walk & consistently fight the fight - trust me!
peace & God bless
