harmonious balance

The only thing I love more than being affected, is affecting others.
It comes down to sharing our stories, our gifts, our blessings and our challenges.
Listening to others, learning and growing.
Doing your best and then simply letting go.

peace & God bless

Good morning, happy Sunday & I hope you had a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving’s Day. In 1998 I didn’t celebrate, or hang with anyone on Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years. It was right after my divorce and the beginning of a very long journey. Many people questioned why I wanted to be alone. It was virtually impossible to get people to understand why and when I tried, I just drained myself more, reinforcing the fact that I wanted to be alone. Deep down in my gut, I knew this was the right decision for me. I just knew it. This is when I started understanding what pro-you decisions meant and why they will challenge us; what may be best for you, many won’t understand and some will feel it is anti-them, which then becomes your biggest test. But with that, come some of life’s biggest rewards. It turned out best for me back then and I am even better at making pro-me decisions today. I guess with age and experience comes the ability to become more comfortable in who you are, what you want and more importantly what you don’t want. If I don’t want to go somewhere I say no. I simply say what I mean, mean what I say. It’s not always easy and I am not always the best at it, but my goal is consistency. The things I believed in and shared 5 years ago, are the same things today and will be in 5 years from now. I’m heavily flawed, more imperfect than most. If I have a claim to fame it would be that of consistent effort; I never stop praying, I never stop trying. I have true faith is this belief.Within that effort comes repetition, familiarity, confidence, peace and clarity. One of the most important lessons I have ever learned.May you make Pro-You decisions, embracing some may not always understand. Believing the more you practice, the better you will get and, the easier it will become to not worry so much about what others may think or feel. And may God watch over you & bless you…                                                                                                                                                                     - tjd “If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with success unexpected in common hours.”- Henry David Thoreaupeace & God bless in two thousand & zen

Sunday Morning - “Pro You”

I have true faith is this belief.

Within that effort comes repetition, familiarity, confidence, peace and clarity. One of the most important lessons I have ever learned.

May you make Pro-You decisions, embracing some may not always understand. Believing the more you practice, the better you will get and, the easier it will become to not worry so much about what others may think or feel. And may God watch over you & bless you…
