harmonious balance

The only thing I love more than being affected, is affecting others.
It comes down to sharing our stories, our gifts, our blessings and our challenges.
Listening to others, learning and growing.
Doing your best and then simply letting go.

Good morning, Life’s path, your path, your journey, whatever you might call it, it is happening right now. I believe that what is coming along your path, is truly coming, good and bad. There is nothing you can do about it. It’s life. But you can do something; you can do for you! If one is in a place of being healthy and happy, pursuing balance, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually, then they will definitely have an advantage when it comes to facing what lies ahead on their path versus someone who is not. Fact. The other way to look at this is with the perspective that every thing along your path is meant to teach and guide you. If you have deemed yourself worthy, then you will have this perspective and realize life is about growing, learning, evolving and it never stops. The beautiful life lessons do not stop either. Life changes moments that alter who you are forever will also continue. Embrace these moments. Why? Because they are happening anyways; the sunrises, the waves continue, tomorrow will come, this too shall pass. I spoke to three different people in the last two years before they passed; my two grandmothers and my sister Tami. My two grandmothers’ both spoke of very few things. At the end my sister wanted very little. None of them had a long list of wants or needs. They didn’t speak about their wish list or complain about what they didn’t have. They didn’t mention work, cars, homes, and bills, Internet or TV. They spoke about family and memories of family. My sister wanted to see her kids come and go and spend time with her husband, her son and her daughter. That was it, very short list, very specific. My grandmothers had fond memories, thus they were successful in life. Tami was successful in life and more successful in dying. Because of her short “list of wants”. She simply realized her path, embraced it and lived in the moment. That is why I am thankful and embrace the life lessons that these three wonderful women in my life have shared with me and are still affecting my path today with. peace & God blesstjd
